Semi-Private and Consultation Options

Our semi-private sessions are designed to help you meet your 20-hour consultation requirement at a comfortable pace, so you won’t feel pressured to discuss cases for a full hour each time. Semi-private sessions are typically held by phone, though face-to-face sessions can be arranged at an increased rate. If you’re the only participant signed up for a semi-private call, there will be an additional $50 fee; however, we aim to keep these occurrences minimal.

To fulfill EMDRIA’s certification requirements, you will need 20 hours of consultation:

• 10 hours must be individual (semi-private counts as half-individual and half-group).

• Remaining hours can be group sessions.

• Final consultation must be an individual session.

• Note: You must be licensed as a therapist at the time you apply for certification.                                                                 

Consultation Pricing         

• Group Consultation: $85/hr (phone)

• Individual Consultation: $150/hr (phone)

• Semi-Private Consultation: $100/hr (phone)                                                                                                                                    

To ensure an efficient consultation process, we require a $300 deposit to start. This deposit will apply to your last consultations. Please note, if there is a gap of over four months in scheduling, this deposit is forfeited, and a new deposit will be required to resume the process. This policy aims to ensure a structured, timely certification journey.

Payment & Cancellation

Payments can be made via VenMo (@Larisa-Traga), Zelle (805-266-3231), PayPal, or ApplePay (tragalarisa@gmail.com). Please submit payment at least 24-48 hours in advance of each consultation.

If you need to reschedule, contact us at least 48 hours before the session to avoid an $85 late-cancellation fee.

EMDRIA Certification Requirements

EMDRIA has set a 5-year timeline from the beginning of your certification consultations to complete the process. Additionally, examples of your clinical work are essential. You’ll need to prepare by bringing near-verbatim transcripts, or if you prefer, audio or video recordings of client sessions, ensuring you have obtained the necessary client releases. Your submissions should capture both your words and interventions.

Note: This is consultation for EMDR certification and does not qualify as supervision for licensure. The consultation sessions will involve discussing case challenges, treatment planning, looping issues, and more. Please review additional requirements on the EMDRIA website.
