EMDR Training: Integrating EMDR into your Clinical Practice Part 1 & 2
The EMDR training is composed of Parts 1 and 2 and 10 hours of group consultation. Each part of the experiential training consists of 10 hours of didactic (lecture and videotaped demonstrations) and 10 hours of supervised small group practice. Participants have ample opportunity to discuss their cases throughout the course and evaluate how EMDR therapy can be applied. At the end of completing the EMDR training and 10 hours of consultation (prepaid in cost of training), participants will receive a certificate of completion of Basic Training (not the same as EMDR Certified). These 10 hours of consultations are included in the fee of the program ($400 value).
Individual/Group Practice
This is experiential practice led by the trainer with focus on understanding EMDR therapy and integrating it into your practice.
EMDR Certification
To get certified, 20 additional hours of case consultation are required, 10 of which must be individual. These sessions provide participants an opportunity for continued learning about EMDR therapy and a deeper understanding of how to apply EMDR therapy and integrate it into one’s practice. These sessions allow participants to discuss their clinical cases in a safe, strength based, empowering and professional environment. Additional criteria must be met per EMDRIA website.

ADDITIONAL TRAINING AVAILABLE
CIDP and A-tip Pocket Versions
We all are challenged from time to time with an acute traumatic incident, e.g., pandemic, assault, divorce, natural disaster, accident, sudden loss of a loved one, etc. While just talking with a ‘supportive ear’ often helps the survivor work through the experience, at times talking is not enough – the survivor is still ‘living it.’ In those situations, more focused interventions may be necessary.
Critical Incident Desensitization Protocol (CIDP) and Acute Traumatic Incident Protocol (A-tip) utilizes bilateral eye movements to help desensitize the survivor to the traumatic event to the point where talking about it may be of help.
Research has shown that bilateral eye movements rapidly diminish the vividness of images and the strong emotions/physical sensations associated with a traumatic event.
Workshop Objectives
Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
· Understand the neurobiology of trauma
· Understand the rationale for the CID/A-tip protocol
· Demonstrate the CID/A-tip protocol
Please note that this training is offered to first responders, clinicians, front line workers, etc. It is offered individually (CID or A-tip) or collectively (CID and A-tip). Please contact us for more information or to schedule a training for your organization.

Dear Larisa, I am so grateful that we got to train with you at Calm this year. I find myself speaking about MI (or through the lens of it) and how inspired I am to be a part of consultation with your insight. I found your training to be incredibly value adding and insightful. Thank you for your courage to speak and share so much, you're a gem and the field of psychology is far better off with your participation.

The content was excellent but I also really enjoyed the mix of role playing, slides and videos. It was really interactive and you are an excellent trainer.
